The Truth about Triumph
Carpet Sets Material and Quality

Please read and carefully consider the following information.
Free sample available on request - Remember, it’s your choice.

Wilton Wool Carpet

The most significant and important difference between the Wilton wool carpet sets we offer is the quality of the raw material/roll goods we use for your carpet set. There are only two auto carpet manufacturing mills in England still producing Wilton wool auto carpet.

English Carpet Mill Manufacturers (raw goods) choice #2

Characteristics
Pile height – 4mm
Backing – lick coat (thin)
Dying method milled/weaved in white only
Vat dyed to colour after weaving.
Overall weight per gr/sq.mtr – 672 gm

Conclusion
Overall appearance, this carpet has a thin looking low pile height with a small amount of backing. The overall colour of the carpet is a very muted/washed out look when brand new and has a tendency to give up it's colour (fade) prematurely. This carpet is readily available to us in England at about half the cost per yard of the Wilton wool carpet, we choose to use in your carpet set. Simply put, a much cheaper carpet, but the old adage of “you get what you pay for” was never more true.

English Carpet Mill/Manufacturer (raw goods) choice #1

Characteristics
Pile height – 6mm
Backing – thick flexible PVC backed for long life
Yarn dyed (raw material) wool is dyed BEFORE milling for beautiful deep long lasting colours
Overall weight per gr/sq.mtr 1085 gm

Conclusion
The overall appearance of this carpet is typical of tightly woven plush, deep thick pile Wilton wool carpet offered by many British auto manufacturers in the 50’s and 60’s. With one third more pile height and overall weight of our competitor’s choice. The overall colour is very rich and vibrant with a long lasting look of quality. It costs us more, yes much more, but we believe it is worth it! You decide.

WE ARE THE ONLY COMPANY IN THE USA CURRENTLY USING THIS SUPERIOR GRADE ENGLISH WILTON WOOL CARPET TO MANUFACTURE OUR FINISHED CARPET SETS

By far the most significant component of the overall quality of your replacement carpet set is the raw materials used in your carpet set. We at Heritage choose to use the best raw materials currently available. Correct cutting, correct binding/edging and of course fit via careful pattern development over many years is also very important. We are sure you have done your homework and read all the information our competitors print regarding their carpet sets. You have read theirs and you have read ours. Everybody is claiming theirs is the best. Who will you choose??? Who better to judge this than you! Yes, you decide, it is your choice. We encourage you to ask for samples from all the suppliers you are considering, carefully compare the quality of the raw material carpet used, see the difference for yourself. The ultimate test, however is for you to carefully compare the finished product in the comfort of your own home.
